Ipoh Trip : 4th Stop - Chang Jiang Coffee Shop

Yam-cha with cousin and uncle after dinner...

The coffee is not so sweet, smooth.. I think is nice.. 

Ipoh Trip: 3rd stop - Pizza Hut Ipoh Central - Prawn Olio Spaghetti

We went to the Pizza Hut at the same building while waiting for our room for check in. My sis is a pasta lover, she ordered a Prawn Olio Spaghetti. The menu described the Prawn Olio Spaghetti precisely as shown in the photo on the menu, "Succulent prawns and roasted sliced mushrooms tossed with red capsicums, fried garlic and roasted onions. Garnished with fresh parsley and chilli flakes. "

When the spaghetti was served, we are surprised that it was nothing near to the description on the menu. We can only found chili flakes and prawn with the spaghetti. We feedback to the waitress immediately.

When the waitress came back, the spaghetti was warm and the rest is still the same. They just re-heat and send back to us. Clearly she did not understands what customer needs before she took it back to the kitchen. We have to describe the spaghetti on the menu again and show her item by item listed on the menu. I did not take note on the waitress name tag at that moment.

In the end, we received the spaghetti which added fried garlic and some capsicum, still missing the roasted sliced mushrooms, roasted onions and the fresh parsley. We stopped to return the food because it is already over cooked and we were extremely hungry because of the waiting. It tasted like mee goreng instead of spaghetti.

I make a complaint to Pizza Hut through their website. The next day, they called me. They will investigate this incident and the store manager will call me afterwards.

Although the spaghetti is a disappointment, at least their customer service is not. 

Ipoh Trip : 2nd stop - J.J. Cafe

Went to JJ Cafe after breakfast..

1st visit to my cousin's cafe.. They really put a lot of effort on this cafe..

The interior is superb! The crepe is yummy! 

Is a place that you want to come back for hangout with your friends or for your own relax time.

Ipoh Trip : 1st stop: - Restaurant Kong Heng

We start our journey to Ipoh in the early morning..

"Thanks" to Papago brought us to Restaurant Kong Heng using such a far route..

Reminder: Please do not use Papago if you are going to Ipoh from the north..(-_-!!)

Daddy and muumy was excited all the way because we are old "Ipoh" lang..

They stayed in Ipoh since they were young, left home town to find a living.

We reached our first destination.. 

 

Famous steamed egg. I find it quite sweet actually..

Rojak.. mummy said daddy can make better sauce.. :P

Chee Cheong Fun.. not bad..

I don't have the chance to take the photo of curry chee cheong fun..

Because went into mummy's tummy..

I think I can't differentiate which one is nicer.. haha

We asked the uncle sat in the counter if they sell  "tea egg", my mummy's favorite..mine too. 

They said they stop selling that for very long time already.

If we want to, we can go somewhere he describe quite far away. 

In fact, the restaurant next to it, Thean Chun is selling the "tea egg"...(-_-!!)

There are signs in the restaurant saying certain food cannot bring over to next restaurant and vice versa.
